AP SSC Grading System 2018 – How to Calculate Grade, Grade Points and Total Score

Board of Secondary Education, Andhra Pradesh (BSEAP) has introduced the new grading system for the AP SSC Results 2018 as each and every year. The grading system is same as the previous year. Based on this new grading system, the AP SSC 2018 Results will be issued for the candidates appeared in the AP 10th class 2018 exams finally. Andhra Pradesh 10th Results GPA System 2018

The BSEAP board has implemented the grading system since last year for issuing the AP SSC Results. This system is introduced in order to ease the burden on the students and to reduce their results tension. This new grading system is welcomed by most of the people.

As per the marks obtained in the AP SSC 2017 exams in each subject as well as in total, the particular grade will be assigned for the candidates appeared in the March 2017 examinations. The grading system is otherwise called as GPA system. In this system, a grade will be given in between A to E based on the marks. You can check out the below grading table to know more.

AP Class 10 / SSC Grading System 2018

The below given table shows how various grades are assigned for the marks along with the grade points for that particular grade obtained by the candidate. So, students can refer the table and verify their grades and grade points accordingly after obtaining the final AP SSC Results 2018.

Calculating GPA from the grade points as obtained in the above mentioned table. 

GPA = Subject 1+ Subject 2+ Subject 3+ Subject 4+ Subject 5+ Subject 6/6 

Grade Point Average (GPA): 10+8+8+10+10+9 = 55/6 = 9.166 

How to Calculate AP 10th Class Results 2018 Grade Score?? 
As the students will get the grades as soon as the AP SSC 2017 Results are released, based on the final grade obtained the students can calculate their average score with the help of the below given list of grades and the scores. Here is the list of grades from A1 to E and the respective score that can range. So, students can check the list and calculate the score before the final score is released by the board.
